I come from a lineage deeply rooted in entrepreneurship and hard work. My story begins with my remarkable Jamaican grandfather, a country farmer who poured his heart and soul into cultivating crops and tending to cattle to support his family. Inspired by his unwavering dedication, my father took up the mantle of entrepreneurship and proudly opened Markham's first black-owned West Indian bakery. Growing up, I couldn't resist joining the family tradition, spending my childhood distributing flyers in Markham Town Centre's parking lot and eagerly working as a cashier after school.

At the tender age of six, I harbored an aspiration to become a lawyer. I would sneak in late-night viewings of Law and Order: SVU and the Cosby Show, even though I probably had no business watching those shows at such a young age - haha! My role models were none other than the formidable Olivia Benson and the wise and loving Claire Huxtable. I yearned to embody their strength and grace, becoming a force for justice in my own generation.

On May 29, 2008, tragedy struck when I lost my dear, Levis Taylor to senseless gun violence. It shattered my spirit, marking the first time I experienced such a profound loss of a young person so close to me. Determined to effect change within the justice system, I became resolute in my mission to empower young individuals, harenessing the law as a powerful tool to advocate for a better life for those I encountered.

Overall, my story is one of hard work, perseverance, and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. I am excited to continue on this journey and to build a brand that reflects my values and passion for helping others succeed.

  • I am an American-trained lawyer who decided to return home to Toronto in 2014 to commence my Canadian legal career to advocate and serve the community that raised me.

    In 2018, I stepped out on faith after contract after contract and decided to launch my solo practice. During my first month of operations, I made $500.00 and though one may have decided to call it quits, I remained resilient until I attained 6-figures in 2019.

    Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I honed on this natural skill and have since worked hard to close transaction after transaction for my clients, advise my clientele on the importance of generational wealth, and continue to assist women in protecting their most expensive assets.

    I specialize in helping new lawyers and those who aspire to build a seven-figure law firm. With years of experience in the legal industry, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with others who are looking to succeed in this field.

    When not attending to client matters and coaching, I enjoy cooking, reading, spending device-free time with my baby girl, traveling around the world, and indulging in luxurious experiences. I also enjoy entertaining friends and family and reading in my free time. Self-care is a top priority for me, and I consider myself to be the queen of self-care practices.

    As a business owner, I have learned the value of persistence, resilience, and innovation. These traits have allowed me to pivot and adapt in order to create a successful brand that elevates and inspires others. My focus is on empowering women to realize their full potential and to help them navigate the complexities of the business world.
